Description

SFCDMA invites you to join us on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the prestigious Olympic Club Lakeside, for the 70th Annual Gala Celebration & Awards Dinner.

The Gala is our signature annual event and once again this year we will be joined by City and State dignitaries, and local business leaders and entrepreneurs, for an evening of entertainment, Featured Speakers, a sumptuous dinner, Awards Ceremony, and Auction.

We are thrilled to announce that California Lieutenant. Governor, Eleni Kounalakis - California's first woman Lt. Governor - will be our Special Guest Speaker.

Our theme in 2020 is VISION. We look forward to celebrating visionary member merchant associations and local small businesses who, despite facing unprecedented challenges in today's business climate, are finding ingenious and inspiring ways to succeed.

We also look forward to sharing new initiatives and programs for our members in 2020. These include District Summits, Security Summits, and Merchant Walks. In addition, we will share success stories from our highly successful Grants Program, which supports the innovative ventures of our member associations.

At this year's Gala we will be highlighting the XXXXXX charity. We look forward to sharing with Gala attendees the tremendous work XXXXX Charity does on behalf of XXXXXX. When you purchase your ticket today we are also offering you the option to make a charitable donation to XXXXX Charity. Please give generously to this worthy cause. Thank you.

Over the past seventy-two years, the Council has distinguished itself by drawing together the disparate merchants associations in the neighborhood commercial districts of the City. Together, we have advocated for street lighting, traffic control, parking, and legislation to improve the business climate in the City. Our members represent a variety of local businesses including an eclectic mix of food and drink establishments, salons, spas, healers, business services, entertainment venues, and more. Our Mission is to protect, preserve, and promote small businesses in San Francisco.
